Maria Lucia – One year old portraits & cake smash {Destination family photographer}

Brazil. This place inspires me! The people, the culture, the food. Art and music are everywhere. The colors just fill your eyes deep into your soul. There is so much noise, texture and beauty. It is alive and it awakes something within. And oh the warm light!!! I can only describe it as magical, precious golden rays of sun kissed by God himself. A photographer’s dream. It is such an honor as an artist to be able to document different stages of people’s lives everywhere we go.

While I was there this sweetheart turned one, so off course we had to celebrate it with a portrait session. We started our journey at her greatgrandma’s garden, then a fun cake smash followed by a splash filled milk bath. I just loved her and her beautiful smile. Happy birthday Malu, our little Ipanema girl!
